Forward calls from your existing phone number to Upfirst

Here's how to send calls from your current phone number to your Upfirst virtual receptionist

Ready to let your Upfirst virtual receptionist answer calls for you? You'll need to set up call forwarding from your existing number. It only takes a minute.

What you'll need

  • Your existing phone number

  • Your Upfirst phone number (available with any paid plan, you can find it under the Agent tab)

  • Access to your physical phone or online phone system

Instructions for major mobile carriers

Verizon

  1. Dial *72 on your phone

  2. Enter your Upfirst number

  3. Hit #

To turn off call forwarding, dial *73.

AT&T

  1. Dial *21* on your phone

  2. Enter your Upfirst number

  3. Hit #

To turn off call forwarding, dial #21#.

T-Mobile

  1. Dial **21*

  2. Enter your Upfirst number

  3. Hit #

To turn off call forwarding, dial ##21#.

Sprint

Sprint users, here's your quick setup:

  1. Dial *72

  2. Enter your Upfirst number

  3. Hit #

To turn off call forwarding, dial *720.

Instructions for popular web phone systems

RingCentral

  1. Log in to your RingCentral account.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

  3. Go to Phone System > Call Handling & Forwarding.

  4. Under Call Forwarding, enter your Upfirst phone number

  5. Save your changes.

Google Voice

  1. Log in to your Google Voice account.

  2. Click on the gear icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

  3. Under the Calls tab, scroll to Call Forwarding.

  4. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  5. Save your changes.

Vonage

  1. Log in to your Vonage account

  2. Click on Account in the top menu.

  3. Select My Services.

  4. Under Call Forwarding, click Edit.

  5. Enter your Upfirst phone number

  6. Save your changes.

Dialpad

  1. Log in to your Dialpad account at Dialpad.com.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the bottom-left corner and select Settings.

  3. Go to Calls in the left sidebar.

  4. Under Call Forwarding, enter the phone number you want to forward calls to.

  5. Save your changes.

Openphone

  1. Access OpenPhone (web or desktop app)

  2. Go to Phone Number Settings

  3. Find Forward Calls or Call Flows

  4. Enter your Upfirst number

  5. Set up any scheduling rules if needed (optional)

  6. Save your changes

Nextiva

  1. Log in to your Nextiva account.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

  3. Go to Phone Numbers under the Admin tab.

  4. Click on the number you want to set up forwarding for.

  5. Under Call Forwarding, enter your Upfirst number.

  6. Save your changes.

8x8

  1. Log in to your 8x8 account.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Admin Console.

  3. In the left-hand menu, go to Users and select the user you want to forward calls from.

  4. Under Call Forwarding, enter your Upfirst number.

  5. Save your changes.

Grasshopper

  1. Log in to your Grasshopper account.

  2. Click on Settings in the left-hand menu.

  3. Select Call Forwarding under the Business Settings section.

  4. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  5. Save your changes.

Zoom Phone

  1. Log in to your Zoom account.

  2. Click on Phone System in the left-hand menu.

  3. Select Users & Rooms and choose your user profile.

  4. Under Call Handling, click Edit next to Call Forwarding.

  5. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  6. Save your changes.

Cisco Webex Calling

  1. Log in to your Webex Calling account.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

  3. Under Calling, go to Call Forwarding.

  4. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  5. Save your changes.

GoTo Connect

  1. Log in to your GoTo Connect account.

  2. Click on Settings in the left-hand menu.

  3. Select Call Handling under Phone Settings.

  4. In the Call Forwarding section, enter your Upfirst number.

  5. Save your changes.

Ooma Office

  1. Log in to your Ooma Office account.

  2. Click on Settings in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Call Forwarding from the menu.

  4. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  5. Save your changes.

magicJack for Business

  1. Log in to your magicJack for Business account at magicjack.com.

  2. Click on Settings in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Call Forwarding from the menu.

  4. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  5. Save your changes.

Avaya Cloud Office

  1. Log in to your Avaya Cloud Office account at Avaya.com.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

  3. Go to Phone System > Call Forwarding.

  4. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  5. Save your changes.

Microsoft Teams Phone

  1. Open Microsoft Teams and click on your profile picture in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Go to the Calls section.

  4. Under Call Forwarding, click Edit.

  5. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  6. Save your changes.
