How to block or unblock a caller

Stop a number from reaching your agent, unblock it later, and find everyone you've blocked.

Written by Alfredo Salkeld

You can block a caller so your agent never picks up their calls again. Calls from a blocked number are automatically declined. You can unblock them at any time.

How to block a caller

1. Open one of their calls

Go to Inbox in the left menu, then click Calls. Click a call from the person you want to block.

2. Open their contact card

Click their name or number at the top of the call.

3. Click Block contact

Click the three dots at the top right of the contact card, then click Block contact.

4. Confirm

Click Block contact again to confirm. The contact card now shows a Blocked label.

How to unblock a caller

Open their contact card the same way, from one of their calls. Click the three dots at the top right, then click Unblock contact.

Find blocked callers from Contacts

Click Contacts in the left menu. Use the Active and Blocked switch at the top right to see everyone you've blocked. Click a name to open their contact card, then unblock them from the three dots.

Note: Deleting a contact also unblocks them. If that number calls again, your agent answers and creates a new contact.

Blocking spam automatically

You don't need to block spam callers one by one. On the Blocked list, turn on Detect and block spam calls. Your agent hangs up on likely spam and blocks the caller for you. You're never billed for spam calls.

To stop toll-free numbers from reaching your agent, turn on Block 1-800 numbers in the same place.
