What pricing plans does Upfirst offer?

We offer three main plans: Starter, Premium, and Pro—plus custom Enterprise options for high-volume businesses.

What is included in the Starter, Premium, and Pro plans?

All plans include all available features that Upfirst has to offer:

  • 24/7 call answering

  • Call summaries

  • Spam filtering

  • Zapier integration

  • Google Calendar integration

  • Multilingual support

  • Appointment scheduling

  • Call transfers

  • Sending texts

There is no need to pay extra for add-ons.

The main difference between each plan is the number of included calls: Starter (30 calls per month), Premium (90 calls per month), and Pro (300 calls per month).

How many calls are included in each plan?

  • Starter plan: 30 calls per month

  • Premium plan: 90 calls per month

  • Pro plan: 300 calls per month

What's the monthly price of each plan?

  • For the Starter plan: $24.95/month

  • For the Premium plan: $59.95/month

  • For the Pro plan: $159.95/month

How much are your plans if I pay annually?

  • Annual price for Starter: $240/year (which averages to $20/mo).

  • Annual price for Premium: $576/year (which averages to $48/mo).

  • Annual price for Pro: $1,536/year (which averages to $128/mo).

Is there a free trial available before committing to a plan?

Yes. We offer a 14-day free trial so you can test the service risk-free—no credit card required when you sign up.

Usage & Overages

What’s the per-call cost if I exceed my plan’s included calls?

The additional per-call cost depends on the plan that you choose.

  • Starter: $1.50 per additional call

  • Premium: $1 per additional call

  • Pro: $0.75 per additional call

Are any calls excluded from counting toward my plan usage?

Yes. Spam calls, robocalls, and ultra-short calls under 15 seconds are not counted toward your monthly limit.

Are spam or ultra-short calls deducted from my call quota?

No—these are excluded so you only pay for real conversations.

Yes—24/7 coverage is included in every plan.

Is bilingual support (e.g., English and Spanish) available?

Yes. Our AI receptionists can handle English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and over 90 additional languages.

Do I get call recordings, transcriptions, and summaries?

Yes. You receive a full call summary and recording with every call, along with transcripts you can review anytime.

Can calls be transferred or routed to other team members?

Yes. We can route calls or send messages to the right person in your team automatically. You also have the ability to set up multiple different call transfer rules for different phone lines.

Is back-and-forth SMS functionality included for sending texts?

No, but it is on our roadmap. For now, our AI receptionist can only send one-way text messages to clients when needed and according to your rules. (e.g. "If a caller is interested in booking an appointment" or "If a caller needs directions to our office.")

This feature is very useful for sending things like booking or scheduling links, sending callers other information such as pricing, or other links to your website.

Does Upfirst integrate with Zapier to connect with other apps?

Absolutely. With Zapier, you can connect Upfirst to 5,000+ apps like CRMs, calendars, and project tools.

Can I create multiple agents for different business lines?

At the moment, users only get one agent per account. You can still create another agent by signing up for another account.

Setup & Flexibility

How easy is it to set up the service?

Setup takes just a few minutes, depending on how detailed your call flows are.

Here is the setup process:

  1. Sign up for Upfirst, upload some details about your business, choose your AI voice, and input your greeting.

  2. Configure your AI's Knowledge base with more information about your business, services, pricing, and other specific instructions for how you'd like your receptionist to respond to different inquiries.

  3. Go live by forwarding your calls from your current phone provider to your Upfirst agent’s phone number—or you can use your agent’s phone number directly for your business if you choose, but most people tend to forward calls from their current phone line to Upfirst.

The Upfirst team is always around to help with the setup process, so you can get up and running fast for what you need.

Can I keep my existing phone number or do I need a new one?

You can keep your existing number for your business—just set up call forwarding to your Upfirst number.

Is there a contract or long-term commitment required?

No, it’s like a subscription—you can cancel your plan at any time. All plans are month-to-month, unless you choose to pay annually for a discount.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. You can cancel your plan at any time without penalties.

What is the Enterprise plan and how is pricing handled?

The Enterprise plan is for businesses with high call volumes beyond 300 calls per month, or for custom needs. Pricing is tailored based on your requirements.

What exactly qualifies as a "spam" or "sales" call that’s not counted?

Calls from known spam numbers, robocalls, or unsolicited sales pitches are filtered out and not billed.

Are calls under a certain duration (e.g., 15 seconds) counted?

No—calls under 15 seconds are considered too short to be meaningful and are excluded from your monthly call quota.

How are call summaries delivered—email, SMS, or both?

Call summaries are sent via email and/or SMS (you can turn on both), and you can also view them in your dashboard.

Additional Integrations & Capabilities

Can call data be pushed directly into my CRM or other tools via Zapier?

Yes, with most CRM or other tools via Zapier—you can connect Upfirst to your CRM, calendar, or ticketing system to sync call data instantly with Zapier.
